Duties:

·        Prepare and cook individual Asian and Fusion hot food menus and dishes.

·        Plan menus and estimate food requirements and cost.

·        Prepare and make sauces for cooking.

·        Improve and suggest menu items.

·        Determine the size of food portions and costs.

·        Requisition food and kitchen supplies.

·        Manage kitchen operations.

·        Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

·        Order supplies and equipment.

·        Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

·        Inspect kitchens and food service areas.

·        Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers.

·        Recruit and hire staff.

Requirements:

Completion of Secondary school

2~3 years of work experience in commercial cooking

$36 per hour based on 30~40 hours/week

Proficiency in English
