Labourer – metal fabrication needed for Certa Industries

1       Vacancy     Location: 1308 8 St Nisku, AB T9E 7M1 Canada

Duties and Responsibilities: As per NOC 95101 – Labourers in metal fabrication; Labourer – metal fabrication: Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products, Transport items throughout plant using powered equipment, Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually, Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators or other metal workers, Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials, Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools, Clean machines and immediate work areas, Read and interpret work orders, Polish metal products to mirror finish, Load and unload vehicle

Salary: $26.00 / hour for 35-40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time    Start Date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: Day, Morning, Evening, Overtime available

Requirements / Skills:                   Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Equipment and machinery experience: Dolly, Lifting device, Hand tools

On site

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting:  Structural steel plant, Metal products manufacturing company, Construction company

Transportation/Travel Information

Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation
