Responsibilities
Tasks:
1. Assemble mechanical equipment
2. Assemble stationary industrial machinery
3. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
4. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
5. Repair or replace defective machinery parts
6. Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
7. Estimate costs and materials
8. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
9. Installing machinery and equipment
10. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
11. Commission systems and components
12. Repair or replace defective pressure vessel parts, such as safety valves or regulators
13. Prepare price quotations
14. Install software and hardware and configure operating system software in preparation for testing
