Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes
Select appropriate paint or mix paints

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, project specifications, colour schedules and work orders to determine painting and finishing requirements.
Inspect walls, ceilings, doors, trim and other surfaces before painting to ensure proper preparation, including sanding, patching, caulking, priming and cleaning.
Supervise the application of paint, stain, varnish, sealers, coatings and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment and other painting tools.
