Schedule: Typical shifts could be on weekends or evenings. Candidate must have flexibility in availability, as mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays are all required.

Job Duties:

·         Plan, organize, direct, control the operations of the food service at Fergie’s Cafe

·         Determine operational process for kitchen and serving staff

·         Recruit staff and oversee staff training

·         Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance

·         Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices

·         Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed

·         Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies

Qualifications/Skills:

·         Fast paced high volume restaurant experience is required.

·         Completion of secondary school is required and degree is preferred.

·         Excellent English communication skills.

·         Minimum 5 years of cooking experience is required.

·         Kitchen management experience – one year minimum required.

·         Food Safe certificate.

·         Be able to deliver excellent customer service to our guests.
