What You Will Do
Reporting to and under the direction of the Director of Care, promote and enhance high quality clinical care practice and leadership within the nursing process according to the day-to-day needs of the resident.
Provide nursing care to our residents in accordance with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards of Practice.
Responsible and accountable to gerontological and nursing standards.
Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences, medication reviews, and mental health rounds of our residents.
Maintain resident health care records and charting in compliance with established standards and legislative requirements.
Ensure that resident rights are maintained and respected which includes confidentiality and the right to participate in his or her own care.
Ensure that high quality clinical care is provided, outcomes are evaluated, and interventions are implemented based on the needs of residents.
Your Qualifications – The Must Have’s
Graduate of a recognized Nursing Program and current registration with the BCCNM
Current Level One Occupational First Aid and Level C CPR
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
You have the physical ability and emotional stamina to carry out the duties of the role
You have a genuine passion for caring for our residents
Ability to organize workloads and have excellent time management skills
You can work independently as well as take direction, be a team player, be flexible, and be able to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills

Shifts/Rotations: We currently have Days ( 0700-1500) Evening( 1500-2300) and Nights ( 2300-0700) rotations as well as mixed rotations available.
