We are looking for an experienced caregiver for a single child, under 4 years old. The place of employment is our private residence. English proficiency is required, this is a full-time, contract/term position. There will be 30 hours/week guaranteed with up to 44 hours/week. We are looking to employ one (1) individual.
Applicants must have at least 1 year of relevant employment experience in Canada.
A letter of recommendation and 3 references are required to apply.
Additional requirements include: First Aid/CPR certification, safe food handling certificate, police records check.

Job tasks include:
Change diapers
Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
Care for pets
Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Prepare infants and children for rest periods
Supervise and care for children
Tend to emotional well-being of children
Cook
Food safety/handling skills
