Job Description

Private household is seeking a reliable and compassionate Live-in Caregiver to provide care and support to an 86-year-old female in the employer’s private residence.

Main Duties

Provide assistance with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
Prepare and serve nutritious meals, including special diets as required; assist with feeding if necessary
Support mobility and assist with light exercise such as walking
Provide medication reminders as directed by the employer or healthcare professional
Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, dishwashing, cleaning, and bed making
Shop for groceries and household supplies
Observe and report any changes in the care recipient’s health or behaviour

Employment Requirements

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Previous experience in caregiving or home support is considered an asset
Valid First Aid and CPR certification
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Patient, reliable, and compassionate

Work Setting & Accommodation

Work is performed in the employer’s private residence
