General Farm Worker

Wage: $17.85 per hour

Working hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description:

We are a farm located in BC, operating six farm sites across Richmond. We grow different kinds of vegetables and are looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our team.

Your main duties will include:

·       Field work: planting, fertilizing, weeding, cultivating, harvesting, sorting, packing of crops

·       Soil preparation, irrigation, insect protection

·       Prepare for shipping: pulling orders, grading, boxing, stacking, crating and wrapping

·       Maintain records of inventory

·       Working area cleaning

Conditions and requirements:

·       Repetitive tasks and physically demanding work

·       Standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs

·       Willing to work early mornings, weekends and overtime during busy seasons
