Job Details

Tasks:

·       Prepare and cook a variety of meals, dishes, and food items and ensure quality and standard presentation

·       Support kitchen helpers, assigning tasks and ensure efficient workflow during food preparation

·       Oversee daily kitchen operations to maintain an organized, and productive work environment

·       Ensure kitchen, food preparation areas, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized

·       Maintain inventory control and keep records of food products, supplies, and kitchen equipment

·       Coordinate menu development, portion control, food quantity estimation, and supply ordering to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Hours: 30 hours per week

Skills Requirements

Education: Completion of secondary school (or equivalent) is required with certification on basic safe food handling training (AB/SK).

Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as Cook is required. Knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres is required.
