Job description:
Tasks
Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes,lightweight steel and other materials
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
Supervise other workers
Estimate costs and materials
Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals,industrial plants and other establishments

Education & Experience requirements:
Secondary school education with 1-2 years of work experience as a carpenter apprentice. Carpentry course/certification would be considered.

Work Conditions:
Weekdays & Weekends
Full time & Permanent
Hours: 30-40 hrs/week
Wage: $36.80/hour
