We require a full-time Registered Nurse for our nursing home.
Responsibilities:
-Provide compassionate and professional nursing care to residents
-Administer medications and monitor treatment plans
-Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
-Monitor and assess residents’ health conditions and report changes
-Supervise and support personal support workers and other care staff
-Maintain accurate resident records and documentation
-Ensure safety, comfort, and dignity of all residents
-Participate in care conferences and family communication
-Promote a positive and supportive environment within the nursing home
Compensation & Hours:
$40.00/hr – 35–40 hours per week
Monday–Friday
Permanent position
Qualifications:
-Completion of a recognized Registered Nursing program
-Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
-Minimum 6 months of nursing experience (nursing home/long-term care experience preferred)
-Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
Preference for this position will be given to Canadians, permanent residents, new immigrants, indigenous peoples, vulnerable youth, people with disabilities with appropriate experience, and the ability to speak and read English.
