We require 3X Personal Support Workers / Patient Care Aide’s to support residents with their daily living activities, promoting comfort, dignity, and well-being in a nursing home setting.

Duties Include:

Accompany residents on outdoor recreational activities and appointments
Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
Serve meal trays and prepare/serve snacks as needed
Change diapers and assist with toileting, including emptying bedpans
Assist in lifting, turning, weighing, and positioning residents
Make beds and maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms
Respond to call signals and determine patients’ needs
Supervise and assist with prescribed exercise routines
Administer bedside and personal care
Provide companionship and emotional support
Administer basic first aid in emergency situations
Ensure resident safety at all times

$22.90/ hr, 35-40 hours per week. Monday- Friday
This is a permanent position

7 months to less then 1 year experience, and completion of high school diploma required. Completion of a Personal Support Worker certificate programs or equivalent health care aide training is considered an asset. Candidates with hands on experience providing care in an elderly residence, long-term care facility, or hospital setting will be given strong consideration.

Preference for this position will be given to Canadians, permanent residents, new immigrants, indigenous peoples, vulnerable youth, people with disabilities with appropriate experience, and the ability to speak and read English.
