Country Manor is seeking three compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our team. Under the supervision of Aide, patient care, and  Nursing Aides (NOC 33102) provide essential care and support to our residents in a safe, respectful, and friendly environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Respond to call signals; empty bedpans; assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding; shave residents; help with menu choices
Weigh, lift, turn, position residents; supervise exercise and leisure activities; accompany residents on outings
Measure and record vital signs: blood pressure, temperature, pulse; monitor fluid intake/output; complete resident charts and logs
Collect specimens (urine, feces, sputum); assist with enemas or suppositories as directed
Administer first aid in emergencies, within competency scope
Transport residents using wheelchairs or stretchers for treatments or appointments
Deliver messages, documents, specimens between departments
Make beds; tidy and sanitize rooms; maintain supply inventory
May assist with sterilizing, maintaining equipment, setup for traction/support devices

Requirements:
Completion of secondary school plus on‑the‑job training or completion of a PSW/Nursing Aide program (college or private institution)
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Criminal background check (including vulnerable sector screening)
Able to lift and assist patients per safe-handling standards
Excellent communication, compassion, and teamwork skills
Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

Wage of $22.90/hour
Hours: Full-time (35–40 hrs/week), rotating shifts including evenings/weekends
Location: Country Manor Retirement Home

Experience 7 months to one year.

Preference for this position will be given to Canadians, permanent residents, new immigrants, indigenous peoples, vulnerable youth, people with disabilities with appropriate experience, and the ability to speak and read English.
