Job Title: Rigger

Vacancy: 1 position

Job Type: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: $28.00 /hour

Responsibilities:

-Load, unload, and move heavy materials to support lifting and crane operations.

-Select, set up, and inspect rigging equipment such as slings, chains, hooks, and shackles.

-Attach loads to cranes or hoists and ensure secure and balanced lifting configurations.

-Signal crane and equipment operators using standardized hand signals or radio communication.

-Assist in positioning and aligning pipes, machinery, and structural components during installation.

-Maintain a safe work area by clearing debris and preparing stable lifting zones.

-Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, and inspecting rigging and hoisting equipment.

-Carry out other rigging-related duties to support crane operations and safe material handling.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Safety shoes required

Requirements:

-Rigging Certificate is required;

-No formal education required;

-Experience is an asset; however on-the-job training will be provided.
