SNH DINING LTD. dba Sushi Nara-Gladwin in Abbotsford, BC seeks a Permanent and F/T RESTAURANT MANAGER.

Duties:

– Plan, organize and evaluate daily operations.

– Develop and analyze budgets to determine costs (food, ingredients, and cleaning supplies) and boost overall profitability.

– Monitor revenues and manage financial performance.

– Modify food preparation methods and prices in accordance with the budget.

– Accurately cost products and services, balance cash, and complete balance

sheets, cash reports, and related forms.

– Recruit, supervise, and train staff to maintain service standards.

– Establish staff work schedules and monitor ongoing performance.

– Conduct regular performance reviews.
– Determine types of services to be offered and implement effective operational

procedures.

– Negotiate arrangements and contracts with suppliers for food and other supplies.

– Organize and maintain inventory levels efficiently.

– Participate actively in the development and implementation of marketing plans.

– Provide customer service and address customers’ complaints or concerns.

– Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Completion of secondary school

3 years to less than 5 years of work experience in related field

Proficiency in English

Hourly Wage: $35.00 to $39.00 per hour depending on related work experience.

Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
